A brief history...

Andy Prill first became interested in Porsches many years ago when he was looking for a restoration project for himself. As an office bound engineer he was always looking for opportunities to get his hands dirty and when a friend pointed out a Porsche 912 at a race meeting he resolved to own one. It was not too long before a car was found and purchased and like so often happens - the heart rules the head and despite insistence that all the car needed was some new carpets and a re-spray, it turned into a full two-year restoration. The result however was an outstanding car and lots of invaluable experience together with a great respect and deep appreciation for the design, quality and engineering of Porsche cars. The finished car was also a great advert and it was not long before people were asking Andy to work on their cars and AJP Engineering was established in 1999.

In a short time, AJP Engineering built an enviable reputation and a loyal client base, which continued to expand both at home and abroad. In 2006 AJP Engineering expanded and formed a new company, Maxted-Page & Prill Limited, which now not only encompasses AJP Engineering, its expertise and values, but is able to offer clients a larger, purpose-built new workshop where the new business can continue to expand its services to customers.

Lee Maxted-Page is also a well-known and respected name in the world of exceptional motor cars. Maxted-Page Limited are established dealers in the sale of historic sports and racing cars and have dealt with the sale of some of the world’s most rare and significant collectors’ cars. Continuing to build on the companies superior name for high quality and customer service, it is now fully supported and strengthened further, now that its sister engineering business Maxted-Page & Prill, has been successfully established alongside.
