Precision Matters: Remote oil adapter

The advantages of clean oil are well established (see Full Flow Adapter, Why). Until now, to gain those advantages you had to drill your engine case, or buy one of the Precision Matters Full Flow Adapters. But those with aftermarket exhaust systems couldn't fit the Full-Flow Adapter. Plus some cars need additional cooling and there is no provision on our Full-Flow Adapter for other components. Now, with the same 'no-drill' technology pioneered on our Full-Flow Adapter, you can replace your oil pump cover, transport oil out and back in to your engine case and fit whatever filter/cooler arrangement you desire.

NOTE: It is characteristic of high-pressure hydraulic systems (like the 356 engine lube system) that the working fluid is delivered in 'pulsed' amounts, timed to the pump gear rotation. This can result in noticeable noise levels as the hoses, filter and/or cooler vibrate in time. Purely theoretically, rigid mounting of any of the components will transfer the vibrations to the unibody and increase the apparent noise. Any structurally-sound method of isolating the mounting points should reduce that noise level.
