Shasta Design and CSP

Shasta Design have taken a significant step forward by redesigning their cylinder barrels. Previously made from cast iron they are now made of Durabar a very stable and flawless extruded iron. Instead of being cast they are CNC machined from solid to incredible tollerances. All 86mm (1720cc) piston/cylinder sets are now supplied with these cylinders. This is significant step forward in quality without an increase in price. THE BEST JUST GOT BETTER!
Because they are machined from solid we can now offer custom sizes so if you want to rebuild your original 1300cc, 1500cc, 1600cc or want to build a custom 1900cc - we can supply.
CSP Chromoly pushrods - In addition to the race engine chromoly pushrods we have developed a range of chromoly pushrods to replace worn out standard rods for road cars. They are made of chromoly but are the same weight as the standard pushrods. They are available in three lenghs so that valve adjusters can be positioned correctly without the need to shim the rocker stands. Standard length for engines that have not required machining to heads. Plus Standard for engine where barrels have been spaced to reduce compression. Minus Standard for engines where the heads have been flycut or the valve seats cut (or both). All available from stock - call for pricing.
